About Me

Relatively new to long distance cycling, I'm already completely hooked! Last year was my first ALC ride, and it was truly the experience of a lifetime. I'm excited to be riding again, and thrilled to be able to encourage and support new riders as they train for this amazing event.

Why I Participate in AIDS/LifeCycle

During ALC 6, I was particularly struck by the truth in the bike jerseys that read, "We all have AIDS if one of us does." As long as we have friends, co-workers, neighbors and loved ones with HIV or AIDS, we are all living with the impact of HIV and AIDS. A community is only as strong as the support structures holding it together. The ALC community is probably the strongest community I have ever been a part of - thousands of loving, giving people working together for the common cause of decreasing suffering and increasing the quality of life for all of us. I am extremely proud to continue participating in AIDS/Life Cycle.
