About Me

I have been part of the ALC family since 2005. After participating in ALC 4, 5 & 6 as a rider, this is my second year riding as a TRL. I am part of the East Bay CAT 2 training team. We meet at Orinda Bart on Sunday mornings. Our training routes are some of the most beautiful and challenging paths getting you ready for the ride. Come and join us, we help you get ready for the ride and have lots of fun along the way.

Why I Participate in AIDS/LifeCycle

In early 2004 I met a friend at the gym who inspired me to do the ride. As many of you I needed to challenge myself, so I signed up in March and bought my current bicycle the following week and started training.

Since I had only eight weeks to train, I decide to commute to work on my bike (25 miles/day) plus the training I got on the weekends.

I had a blast participating in ALC 4. Not only I met my personal goal to get fit, but I learned about the dedicated ALC community that has inspired me to continue participating in this great cause for the past 4 years.
